Calvados / Fig Liqueur Delaunay

Edition No. 1 was created to commemorate the Deutsche Guggenheim's inaugural exhibition Visions of Paris: Robert Delaunay's Series. Bottles filled with fig liqueur or calvados pays d'Auge are beautifully packaged in wooden boxes featuring a unique art label. This label was specially recreated for this edition from an advertising poster designed by Sonja Delaunay in 1939 for a popular French liqueur that shared the same name as the artists. As the Delaunay's design and advertising slogan for this aperitif, "Un Delaunay est bon toute heure" (A Delaunay is good anytime), was never realized for the commercial market, this is the first time that this delectable item is available to the public.
